An 11-year-old boy from Oklahoma was killed and six others suffered injuries in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Bryan County last week. The accident, which occurred on February 17, took place at around 4 p.m. on a county road south of Blue, a community in Bryan County, Oklahoma. FATAL ROLLOVER ACCIDENT IN OKLAHOMA
According to a preliminary accident report, 28-year-old Clyde Powell was driving an SUV carrying six passengers, heading west on County Rock Creek Road, when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, crashed into a fence and a tree, and then rolled over. Troopers who responded to the accident say Powell and all six passengers were ejected from the vehicle, and 11-year-old Joseph Miller was pronounced dead at the scene from massive head injuries. Police say Powell, four other children and one adult were all transported to area hospitals, with two of them being airlifted. The most recent report indicated that a 14-year-old girl and a 33-year-old woman are both in critical condition at a hospital in Plano, Texas. Powell and the remaining passengers are in stable condition at area hospitals.
