Todd is a lifelong resident of the Oklahoma City metro area. He spent his first four years of his legal career with the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s Office. He gained experience working on hundreds of cases, primarily as a felony trial attorney. While gaining experience at the public defender’s office, he obtained numerous pretrial dismissals, and “Not Guilty” verdicts at jury trials ranging from Exploitation of an Elderly Person to Murder.
While attending law school, Todd first started to learn how the criminal process worked by working as an intern for the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office. From there, he worked for the Oklahoma Innocence Project. While at the Innocence Project, he assisted prisoners with actual innocence claims, to find avenues to get back into court for post-conviction and Habeas matters. Simultaneously, he worked as an intern doing primarily civil work, with a focus on personal injury law, at Foshee and Yaffe law firm.
Todd earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law.
In his spare time, Todd enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, skiing, traveling and watching sports.
