Among the families affected are television host Dr. Laura Berman and her husband Sam Chapman, who lost their 16-year-old son Sammy to a fentanyl-laced pill allegedly obtained through Snapchat. The lead plaintiff, Amy Neville, shared the devastating loss of her 14-year-old son Alexander, who also succumbed to a fentanyl-laced oxycodone pill, allegedly acquired via Snapchat. These heart-wrenching stories underscore the urgency of bringing Snapchat to account for the devastating consequences its platform allegedly enabled.
